The objective of the Reintegration Preparation Materials program is to facilitate a successful transition of individuals back into society upon their release in Jacksonville, Florida. The program is designed to equip participants with essential life skills and provide them with a comprehensive guide that includes resources for securing housing, finding employment, and re-establishing community connections.
By offering this program, the aim is to help participants overcome common challenges associated with re-entry into society, thereby reducing recidivism and fostering self-sufficiency. Furthermore, the program seeks to contribute positively to the Jacksonville community by helping individuals reintegrate effectively, leading to safer neighborhoods and a more inclusive society.
Upon release, participants will continue to be a part of the AMC program. This means they will have ongoing access to educational resources, community assistance, and other forms of support. This continued engagement aims to help them navigate their journey beyond the prison walls, further solidifying their reintegration into society.
Our goal is to track the life progress of each participant for up to a year after release. This tracking includes monitoring their housing situation, employment status, and community engagement. By doing so, we can understand better the effectiveness of our program, make necessary improvements, and provide additional support where needed.
